TASBO’s Risk Management Research Committee
and Safe Schools Research Committee have
partnered to plan TASBO’s most comprehensive
safety and planning training of the year.
This two-day academy brings together risk
management and safety planning leaders
throughout the state to discuss strategic planning,
health & safety practices and current events
related to helping our public schools become an
efficient and safe place to work and learn.
The academy is a great opportunity to network
and exchange ideas with peers.
The sessions are applicable to all levels of school district
administration and will be beneficial whether
you supervise the risk management department
for your district or just want to gain more
knowledge about this important area. All school
risk managers, business and operations officials,
facilities directors, security officers and other
school administrators are encouraged to attend. The registration fee is $355 for members and
$395 for non-members. In addition to handouts
and refreshment breaks, continental breakfast
and lunch are included. Space is limited, so regis-
